Kewaskum house fire on Fond du Lac Avenue

The Brief

    • Emergency responders were dispatched to a house fire in Kewaskum on Saturday, Feb. 1.
    • The fire was captured by body camera video.
    • Deputies and police who arrived on the scene began the process of knocking down the fire.

KEWASKUM, Wis. - The Washington County Sheriff's Office shared body camera video on Monday, Feb. 3 of a fire at a house in Kewaskum that happened on Saturday, Feb. 1.

What we know:

Deputies from the sheriff's office responded with the Kewaskum Police Department to the house fire on Fond du Lac Avenue. 

The deputies worked to suppress the fire which was primarily contained to the exterior of the residence. Kewaskum firefighters finished the job.

The sheriff's office noted that while not all our deputies have specific fire training certifications, several have volunteer experience with local fire departments prior to becoming deputies.
