'It's about those families:' Brew City Brand helps those affected by Miller Brewery shooting

MILWAUKEE -- Brew City Brand is supporting the victims of the Miller Brewery shooting with #MillerStrong t-shirts.

"We're running some t-shirts that we hope to donate to the Miller/Coors family," said George Keppler of Brew City Company.

The brand is known for its fun and thought-provoking t-shirts.

"Frank, who is a designer here for us came up with a heart shape, just a simple design to show our love and support for the Miller family," Keppler said.

Brew City has worked with the local brewery for over 30 years.

"Most important as we all know, it's not about the t-shirts, it's not about Brew City. It's about those families and the families of the victims," Keppler said.

On Wednesday, 5 Miller Brewery employees were fatally shot at their workplace near 41st Street and State Street.

FOX6 News sources say the shooter, Anthony Ferrill, 51, was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Ferrill was an employee. No members of the public were involved.

The shooting happened just after 2 p.m. at the Molson Coors Beverage Company -- the old Miller Brewery.

The names of the victims have not been released due to family notifications.
