In trouble again! Racine sex offender, Michael Fink, back behind bars

RACINE (WITI) -- A violent sex offender is back behind bars in Racine. This time, for something authorities say was found in his home!

One of his former victims tells FOX6 News it's not the first time he's broken the rules after getting out of prison.

In Racine near 16th and Memorial, it is not just frigid temperatures that keep the kids inside on this block.

"My kids aren't allowed to come out and play no more," said Rosa Espinoza, neighbor.

For two years, Rosa Espinoza says her family has been confined to their home. This, after a new neighbor moved in across the street.

Michael Fink is a violent sex offender. Released in 2013, after serving time for multiple attacks, darkness from his home is bringing neighbors hope. Fink is back in jail.

Jail records show he's being held after being found in possession of children's clothes, breaking one of his nearly 50 restrictions. It is not the first time he's broken his strict rules.

One of Fink's victims, who asked not to be identified, says the violent attacker is being given much more than a second chance at life.

"This is his fourth arrest in two years since his release. And in his prior offense, all they did was limit his visitation to his home and released him back to his home," said the victim.

Prior mugshots show how Fink's appearance has drastically changed in just a few years time. Prior offenses have included possession of items that may entice a child.

"Every time he is arrested and they do nothing, I am re-victimized. When will it end?" said the victim.

Fink's victim and his neighbors hope that this arrest will lock him up for good.

"Can't be set by again and let him be put back in the community. Somebody is going to get hurt," said the victim.

Michael Fink is being held at the Racine County Jail. It's unclear what will happen next.

After repeated calls to the Department of Corrections, they have not yet gotten back to us at FOX6 News.
