"I hope they catch who did this:" Woman abducted from home by two men on Milwaukee's northwest side



MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are asking for the public’s help to locate a person taken in an abduction on Friday, April 15th.

The incident happened in the neighborhood near Fond du Lac and Beale St. on the city’s northwest side.

25-year-old Tamyra Thomas was last seen near her residence in this block around 6:30 a.m. Witnesses tell police they saw Thomas being taken against her will out of a residence by two black male suspects who left with Thomas on foot.The incident happened in the neighborhood near Fond du Lac and Beale St. on the city’s northwest side.

"It's just kind of scary because it's like it could happen to anybody so it's like now we just we got to really be on the look. Like watch your back if you see anything, just you know, call or let somebody know," said Latasha Campbell.

Milwaukee police are calling the incident an abduction and say two men hauled Thomas away on foot.



"Makes me nervous I got a sister in there, my mom's in there. Just makes me nervous that somebody would even want to do this," said Malique McKinney, lives nearby.

Police say Thomas is about 5'7", weighs about 190 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black sleeveless shirt with red designs on the chest, red and white pants with white writing and no shoes.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding Thomas, and the men who took her. They say Thomas knew one of the men involved and say he may be 30-year-old Anthony Perkins.

"I hope they catch whoever did this because it's just nonsense. Just too much going on it's like you can't even go outside, can't even be in your own house. It's just too much going on," said Campbell.
