Husband & wife injured after they were struck by a vehicle in Walmart parking lot near 41st & Greenfield

WEST MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Police say two people were injured when they were struck by a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot near 41st and Greenfield Sunday, March 8th.

It happened around 12:30 p.m.

West Milwaukee police say a vehicle driven by a 69-year-old West Allis man struck two adults who were walking in the parking lot along with their three children. Police say a 43-year-old woman and her husband were struck by the vehicle.

The woman and her husband were taken to the hospital, but it is not believed their injuries are serious.

Their children were turned over to family members at the scene.

The man driving the striking vehicle stayed at the scene.

Police are investigating.
