House fire on Milwaukee's north side ruled suspicious, glass bottle burning outside

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Authorities are investigating a suspicious house fire that occurred early Tuesday morning, July 29th on the city's north side.

The fire broke out around 2 a.m. near 14th and Groeling.

Officials say flames were contained to the pantry of the home.

At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown, however, officials  say they found a glass bottle burning outside the window.

Officials say four people were inside the home when the fire broke out. They are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

No injuries were sustained.

The fire caused an estimated $11,000 in damage to the building and $4,000 in damages to the contents.
