House fire displaces 1 near 27th and Hadley, Red Cross called for aid

MILWAUKEE -- Fire officials were called to a house fire near N. 27th Street and W. Hadley Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday, June 14.

Fire officials say one resident and their pets were able to safely vacate the building.

No word on what started the fire.

The Red Cross is helping find temporary shelter for the displaced resident.
