Hit-and-run crash sends car into home on Milwaukee's south side

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a traffic crash that happened shortly after 8 a.m. on Friday, March 27th near 14th and Greenfield on the city's south side.

An SUV struck a car -- and that car ended up crashing into a home. The driver of the SUV fled the scene.  No one inside the car or the home was hurt.

Police say the driver of the SUV later came into the District 2 station to report his car as stolen -- but was identified as the driver in the crash.

The driver was issued citations of Operating After Revocation and Failure to Report an Accident.
