Highway 16 EB reopens in Pewaukee after repairs made to buckling pavement
PEWAUKEE -- Officials on Monday afternoon, May 30th shut down Highway 16 eastbound between Main Street and I-94 in Pewaukee due to pavement buckling issues that needed to be addressed immediately.
As of 5:00 p.m., FOX6 News was told the roadway would be shut down for the next three to four hours.
The roadway reopened around 8:00 p.m.

This same issue happened last week, on Tuesday, May 24th. WisDOT officials shut down the exit ramp from I-94WB to Highway 16 in Waukesha County after pavement on the ramp buckled.
