Gov. Walker announces 250 new jobs coming to southeast Wisconsin

Gov. Scott Walker announced the creation of 250 new jobs in southeast Wisconsin Monday; jobs he says will help build a community and a region.

The governor announced a joint venture between Milwaukee-based Trisept Solutions and Blue Star InfoTech from India. The announcement was made at the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce.

The company is called Blue7 Solutions and will be located in the Village of Bayside. It'll create up to 250 new jobs over the next five years. Those jobs will be in information technology and engineering with an average annual salary of $60,000.

Blue7 Solutions will provide innovative and business technology services for various industries -- specifically travel and hospitality, manufacturing and health care.

Blue7 was looking at other states, but a more than $3 million tax credit helped seal the deal in Wisconsin.

"This is a graet place to do business. Wisconsin is open for business. It's not only open for growth for existing companies, it's open for companies and investors all across the state, all across the country, and increasingly all across the globe," said Gov. Walker.

Blue7 Solutions is expected to launch on January 1st. The company will start looking for employees shortly after that. In particular, they'll be looking for software developers and engineers.
