Franklin police seek suspects after two victims found bound, held against their will in armed robbery

FRANKLIN (WITI) -- Franklin police are seeking two suspects after two people were found bound and held against their will at a home on S. 92nd Street.

Police on Monday morning, November 17th responded to the home for a reported armed robbery.

Police say the 75-year-old homeowner and a 53-year-old employee were bound and held by suspects displaying weapons. Police tell FOX6 News the homeowner sells auto parts out of his home, and the 53-year-old employee does work for him.

Those suspects were able to get away with cash and property -- according to police.

Franklin police are now actively seeking those suspects.

One suspect is described as a white/Hispanic man in his early 30s -- standing 5'9" tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has tight curly black hair cut short, and he was wearing a gray zip up hoodie with dark Dickey-type pants.

The other suspect is described as a Hispanic man, approximately 35 years old. He stands 6'1" tall, and weighs 200 pounds. He has black hair and scruffy facial hair. He was seen wearing a navy blue hoodie and sweatpants, and black athletic shoes with white paint spots.

The suspects were seen leaving the scene in a red sub-compact two-door vehicle.

Both of the victims were battered by the suspects -- but police say they refused medical treatment at the scene.

Police tell FOX6 News they believe the home may have been targeted by the suspects who were aware cash was often exchanged there.
