The incident happened at 11:55 p.m. on July 11th on Howard Ave across from St. Adalbert's Cemetery.

Police say four men got out of a car and asked the victim for his money. The suspects then ran at the victim, who fell to the ground, and started kicking and hitting him multiple times. Injuries to the victim's head, nose and right rib cage were reported.

A cell phone, cash, driver's license, debit card and a three-inch pocket knife were taken from the victim. Video from inside the gas station shows one suspect inside after the incident and the other two fleeing the scene after a Sheriff's deputy arrived on scene.

Police say the vehicle the suspects had was stolen and returned to the owner. While parked at the Speedway gas station, on 800 W. Layton Ave, a Milwaukee County Sheriff's Deputy ran the vehicle's plates and found it was stolen. The suspects ran away when the deputy started to chase them.
