FOND DU LAC COUNTY, Wis. - A 30-year-old Waukesha woman is dead following a crash in Fond du Lac County on Wednesday, April 1.

What we know:
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the scene around 11:52 p.m. after a passing motorist reported a crash near County Highway W and County Highway BB in the Town of Ashford.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a pick-up truck was traveling northbound on County Highway BB when it failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway, traveled down an embankment, struck a culvert, and overturned onto County Highway W.
The driver and sole occupant, a 30-year-old woman from Waukesha, was pronounced dead at the scene.
