Firefighters called out to house fire near 25th and Burleigh; cause under investigation

MILWAUKEE (WITI) --  Firefighters were called out to a fire at a vacant home early Wednesday morning, March 11th near 25th and Burleigh.

It started on the second floor and spread to the attic. Crews were able to stop the fire before it spread to nearby homes.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries. No one else was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
