Firefighters battle large brush fire in Germantown, multiple departments involved

GERMANTOWN, Wis. - Firefighters battled a large brush fire in Germantown on Tuesday evening, Aug. 18.
The fire was in the swampy area north of Highway 145 and Highway 167. Multiple fire departments in the area are taking part in the firefight.
It is not clear at this point how the fire started.
