Fire guts Franklin home, three treated for smoke inhalation

FRANKLIN (WITI) -- Three people were treated for smoke inhalation after fire broke out in a Franklin home on Sunday evening, October 27th.

Emergency crews from several communities were call to the home on S. Dory Dr. shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday. When they arrived on the scene, the home was fully engulfed in fire.

All six people who live in the two-story home were able to get out safely. But three were treated for smoke inhalation -- but did not need to be taken to a hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
