Fire damages vacant home near 42nd & Florist in Milwaukee; cause under investigation
MILWAUKEE -- Firefighters responded to the scene of a vacant house fire near 42nd and Florist early Monday morning, September 12th. The call came in around 5 a.m.
When crews arrived on scene they discovered flames in the basement and first floor of the home.
Authorities say the fire caused $82,800 in damage to the building and $30,800 in damage to the contents.
The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation.
