Fans disappointed after another Badgers Rose Bowl loss

MILWAUKEE -- Badgers fans watching the Rose Bowl game at TGI Friday's Front Row at Miller Park can't believe the loss to the Oregon Ducks, 45-38, but many say after an up and down season, to have a game like this at the end was a real treat!

Wisconsin alumni's band bellowed from Pasadena as Badgers fans cheered touchdown after touchdown throughout the first half at TGI Friday's. Many of those on hand Monday say they show up for every Badgers game. Fans knew after the Badgers loss in last year's Rose Bowl game, they would need to play hard this year. "They have to play defense today, because Oregon's going to put up points, and they have to be able to stop them," one fan said.

Sure enough, every Badgers score was matched by the Ducks, keeping the game close and the fans on the edge of their seats! "I think it's going to be a hard fought game, down to the last play," one fan said.

In the end, Oregon's offense was too much for the Badgers, and the crowd at TGI Friday's sat silent, as the Wisconsin comeback attempt fell short, ending the up and down season. "It started on it's high, and then had that loss where we lost two games, then they battled back, beat MSU to be in the championship. Tonight, unfortunately, just came up a couple seconds short on the clock," one fan said after the game.

The crowd at TGI Friday's Monday night came up short of last year's near capacity crowd, but those that came, unfortunately, were just as disappointed as last year.
