Fatal hit-and-run crash in Milwaukee

Family says 73 year old Glen McCain died from his injuries after a hit and run early Saturday morning. It occurred at Fond Du Lac and Vance.

MILWAUKEE -- A 73-year-old man died after a hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning, Aug. 25.

Family members identified the victim as Glen McCain. We're told he was a veteran, who leaves behind four children and nine grandchildren.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. near Vance and Fond du Lac Avenue.

According to police, McCain was struck by an unknown vehicle -- which fled the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
