Elderly woman rescued from burning home on Milwaukee's north side
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee firefighters pulled an elderly woman out of a burning home early Sunday, December 21st.
Firefighters were dispatched to the home near 43rd and Sherman around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Flames apparently started in the basement -- and then moved up to the first floor.
Officials say firefighters got the woman out of the house through a window -- she's going to be okay.
It's not yet clear what caused the fire.
