Driver severely hurt after being ejected from vehicle that rolled several times in Village of Somers

VILLAGE OF SOMERS -- A driver was severely hurt in a crash involving a single vehicle that happened early Thursday morning, November 17th in the Village of Somers.

According to Kenosha County Sheriff's Officials, deputies and officials with the Somers Fire Department areound 2:00 a.m. were dispatched to the area near 22nd Avenue and 12th Street in the Village of Somers -- where a vehicle headed southbound on 22nd Avenue left the roadway and rolled over several times.

The operator of the vehicle was ejected, and severely injured.

 

That person was taken to Froedtert Hospital.

22nd Avenue was closed from the time of the crash for approximately three hours for the investigation.

Officials say speed does appear to be a factor in the crash.
