Driver arrested for OWI & drugs after he was found driving truck stolen from St. Vincent de Paul

OZAUKEE COUNTY -- Ozaukee County Sheriff's officials say a St. Vincent de Paul truck that was stolen over the weekend in the Town of Port Washington was recovered on Wednesday, April 6th.

During the burglary, an undisclosed amount of cash was taken as well as the white box truck marked "St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store" in blue lettering.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, officials received a call from an individual who indicated a St. Vincent de Paul box truck was seen driving erratically on I-43.

The vehicle was located and stopped, and the 36-year-old driver was arrested for operating without the owner's consent, operating while impaired and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
