In order to allow traffic to continue to travel on N. Teutonia during construction, this project will take place in two stages:

Begins July 8 – Traffic is restricted to one lane northbound as work begins on the southbound lanes. Southbound motorists should use an alternate route during this phase of the project.

Begins after Stage 1 is completed, approximately September 4 (weather permitted) – Traffic moves to the newly completed southbound lanes – one lane in each direction.

To accommodate the construction work, there will be NO PARKING allowed on N. Teutonia from W. Capitol to W. Ruby. Parking will be available on adjacent side streets.

Businesses and agencies along the construction corridor will be open as usual. DPW’s Support for Business program is providing signage throughout the area to help direct motorists and pedestrians to their destinations.
