Dozens apply to be a part of the crew at Miller Park
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Opening day is just around the corner. While there is snow covering Miller Park, inside, preparations are underway.
Dozens fill a room, waiting to be a part of the team. They are filling out applications and doing interviews for Impark. The vendor handles parking and traffic.
"We have a basic application that they need to complete, a quick customer service test and a pretty simple math test for the cashiers," Impark General Manager Mark Mock said.
Tina McClain went through the interview process. She was hired on the spot. McClain will be a cashier when the baseball season starts.
"I'm happy to have the opportunity to get back into the work field," she said.
Impark will be hiring 75 to 100 people for baseball season. The business has a 90 percent employee retention rate. A large number of employees are retirees and students.
