DHS: 67K+ positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin, 1,060 deaths, 58K+ recovered, 1M+ negative
MADISON - The number of positive cases of COVID-19 rose by 663 Wednesday, Aug. 19, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported, for a total of 67,493.
There have been 1,060 deaths in the state, with eight new deaths reported Wednesday.
Of the positive cases, 5,430 have required hospitalization (8%), and 58,244 have recovered (86.3%), making for 8,171 active cases (12.1%).
More than 1 million have tested negative. More than 1.1 million have been tested.
