DHS: 455 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin; 66K+ total, 1,039 deaths, 1M+ negative 

The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin rose by 455 Monday, Aug. 17, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported, for a total of 66,196.

There have been 1,039 deaths in the state, with no new deaths reported Monday.

Of the positive cases, 5,327 have required hospitalization (8%), and 56,602 have recovered (85.5%), making for 8,537 active cases (12.9%).

More than 1 million have tested negative. More than 1.1 million have been tested.
