DHS: 2,392 new positive cases of COVID-19 in WI; 6 new deaths

The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin rose by 2,392 Thursday, Sept. 24, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported, for a total of 108,324.

There have been 1,265 deaths in the state, with six new deaths reported Thursday by DHS officials.

Of the positive cases, 6,897 have required hospitalization (6.4%), while 90,726 have recovered (83.8%), making for 16,315 active cases (15.1%).
