DHS: 1,547 new positive cases of COVID-19; 10 new deaths

The number of positive cases of COVID-19 rose by 1,547 Thursday, Sept. 10, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported, for a total of 84,881. 

There have been 1,193 deaths in the state, with 10 new deaths reported Thursday.

Of the positive cases, 6,222 have required hospitalization (7.3%), while 73,964 have recovered (88.8%), making for 8,169 active cases (9.8%).

More than 1.2 million have tested negative. More than 1.3 million have been tested.
