Developing: Medical examiner investigates death of 12-month-old girl

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the death of a 12-month-old girl in the City of Milwaukee.

The medical examiner’s office was called to a home near 15th and Nash Tuesday morning, February 16th. The child was pronounced dead at 7:20 a.m.

Initial reports indicate the child was sleeping with two adults on a partially inflated air mattress.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
