Wisconsin DHS: Coronavirus cases up 934; deaths up 32
MILWAUKEE - The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin rose by 934 Saturday, Feb. 6, officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported, for a total of 549,155.
There have been 6,052 deaths in the state, with 32 new deaths reported by state health officials Saturday.
Of the positive cases, 24,824 have required hospitalization (4.5%), while 527,575 have recovered (96.1%), making for 15,369 active cases (2.8%).
As for the COVID-19 vaccine, DHS officials reported as of Saturday, Feb. 6 that 740,526 doses have been administered. To date, 986,275 doses have been allocated to Wisconsin.
The DHS reported that, as of Saturday, 158,053 Wisconsin residents have completed the two-shot COVID-19 vaccination series.
