Celebration of bacon during BACONFEST MKE at Harley Museum

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- At the Harley-Davidson Museum on Sunday, February 16th -- it was all about BACON! 102.9 THE HOG and the Harley-Davidson Museum teamed up for the third annual BACONFEST MKE, a celebration of all things bacon!

Visitors had the opportunity to take part in an afternoon filled with bacon, bacon products, and most importantly -- bacon eating!

People were able to sample unique bacon creations along with some classic favorites prepared by southeastern Wisconsin's best chefs and restaurants.

"We've got bacon pizza, bacon mac 'n cheese, bacon ice cream, bacon beer, bacon dog food and it's a celebration of all things bacon!" 102.9 THE HOG's Marketing Director, Scott Schubert said.

Additionally, those who purchased a ticket received Harley-Davidson Museum admission good for 90 days.

This event was sold out! It was sponsored by Patrick Cudahy.

Schubert estimates 1,200 people turned out for this year's BACONFEST.
