U.S. Marshals search for Corteaz Delaney, convicted of armed robbery

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- U.S. Marshals are looking for 26-year-old Corteaz Delaney.

In December 2006, Delaney was among three men who robbed a 17-year-old man at gunpoint in a vacant lot near 22nd and Locust.  The teen was fatally shot after the three men stole his gun and clothes.

Delaney was arrested for Intentional Homicide but was convicted of a lesser charge of Armed Robbery by Use of Force.  He was released from prison on parole in March 2014 and disappeared five months later.

Delaney is also a non-compliant sex offender.  U.S. Marshals say he goes by the nickname 'Mone.'  He has a tattoo of two tear drops on his right cheek and a tattoo of 'c mone' on his left hand.

Delaney is 5'05'' and weighs 135 to 140 pounds.  U.S. Marshals say he may be on Milwaukee's near north side or near south side.
