CAPTURED: Donte Davis, member of the "Burleigh Zoo" gang, sought by U.S. Marshals

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- U.S. Marshals are looking for 29-year-old Donte Davis.

U.S. Marshals say Davis is believed to be the last remaining member of the 'Burleigh Zoo' gang to avoid arrest.  A joint effort by the U.S. Marshals, FBI, Milwaukee Police Department and the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has been focused on dismantling the gang.

U.S. Marshals say back in May, Davis was sentenced to five years in prison for distributing more than 500 grams of cocaine.  At the time, investigators hadn't yet linked Davis to the 'Burleigh Zoo' and he was released on a voluntary surrender.

Davis was instructed to report to the Bureau of Prisons at the end of November.  In September, the DCI started looking into Davis for gang activity.  A state warrant and federal warrant were issued for his arrest.

U.S. Marshals say Davis goes by the nickname "Tay."  He is 5'6'' and weighs 130 pounds.  He has a large scar on his abdomen.  U.S. Marshals say he may be in Milwaukee but he also has connections in Racine and Arizona.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call U.S. Marshals at 414-297-3707.
