Caledonia police: Four people, including two children, hospitalized after serious, head-on crash
CALEDONIA (WITI) -- Caledonia police say four people, including two children, were taken to the hospital following a serious head-on crash that occurred on Wednesday morning, July 30th.
It happened on Highway 38 at Brook Road in the Village of Caledonia just before 8:00 a.m.
Police say at least one of the two vehicles involved traveled left of the center line and collided head-on with another vehicle.
Police say one vehicle was driven by a 43-year-old woman -- and the other vehicle was driven by a 49-year-old woman.
The 49-year-old woman had her two children in the car.
All four of the people involved in this crash were taken to the hospital.
Police say the 49-year-old woman was later transferred to Froedtert Hospital -- and her two children were taken to Children's Hospital due to the extent of their injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.
