In business news for Tuesday, September 25th, 2012 -- Jackson Street Management, LLC. wants to buy land in Milwaukee's Park East Corridor (near where the Sydney Hih building once stood) from Milwaukee County for a 110-room hotel.

The Medical College of Wisconsin has received a $75,000 grant from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation to advance the college's research on cardiovascular disease.

An Aerosoles shoe store will open at Wauwatosa's Mayfair Mall in November.
