In business news for Thursday, February 16th, 2012 -- Tomter's Inn on Appleton and Burleigh closed in 1994 after 20 years in business, and now plans to re-open at the former Pepino's Pizza location on Capitol Drive in Brookfield. Also, construction begins soon on the second phase of the North End apartment project in downtown Milwaukee. It's part of the Mandel Group's 500 unit residential neighborhood located on the corner of Water Street and Pleasant Street in the Park East Corridor. Target says it plans to open its new Brookfield store in July on Bluemound Road near Columbia Boulevard.
