Brown Deer police investigate attempted child enticement case

BROWN DEER (WITI) -- Brown Deer police are investigating a case of attempted child enticement that happened around 7:45 a.m. on Friday, January 10th.

The victim told officials that while waiting for the school bus on W. Donges Lane, an unknown suspect stopped his vehicle and offered the student a ride. The student declined. However, the suspect continued to offer a ride and also asked personal questions of the student.

The student did not provide any information -- and continued to decline the ride offer. After about one or two minutes, police say the suspect left the area.

The suspect is described as a male, black, about 30 years old with a medium build and 5 o'clock shadow. He was driving an older model four-door sedan, dirty with circular tail lights. The vehicle was described as being "darkish blue."

Anyone with information on this matter is encouraged to contact the Brown Deer Police Department at 414-371-2900 -- and refer to case 14-393.
