Brookfield church recovering after storm damage

BROOKFIELD (WITI) -- A tree that crashed onto the roof of a Brookfield church has been cleaned up. But damage to the building may take weeks to fully repair.

The tree fell onto a portion of the Victory International Fellowship Church on Wednesday evening, June 12th. There were roughly 130 church members inside the building at the time of the crash. Nobody was hurt.

The pastor at the church says water was pouring into the church as a result of the hole left in the roof.

The pastor tells FOX6 News the church will hold Sunday service as usual at 10 a.m.
