Body of 55-year-old man found in Kenosha retention basin
KENOSHA (WITI) -- The body of a 55-year-old man has been found near an apartment complex at 18th St. and 24th Ave. in Kenosha around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9th.
Witnesses tell FOX6 News the body was lying in an open retention basin. His identity will be released after family has been notified.
The investigation is in the initial stages with no manner or cause of death determined at this time.
The Kenosha Police Department is asking any citizens that may have been in the area of this retention basin and observed any activity on either Tuesday or Wednesday to contact the Kenosha Police Department Detective Bureau at 262-605-5203 or Crime Stoppers at 262-656-7333.
