Body of 52-year-old man found along creek bed near Timmerman Airport

MILWAUKEE -- The body of a 52-year-old man was found in the creek bed near 100th Street and Hampton Ave. in Milwaukee on Thursday morning, January 26th.

The Milwaukee County medical examiner was dispatched to the scene shortly after 8:30 a.m.

While this is a Milwaukee police case, a Wauwatosa police lieutenant indicated there was no evidence of foul play on the scene.

The connection with the Wauwatosa Police Department is that on Wednesday, January 25th, officers were out investigating a stalking case near 100th and Hampton. Officers spotted the subject in question -- and the guy took off on foot. Officers got in a foot chase with the man, but lost sight of him in the area of the creek near Timmerman Airport.

The description of the man being sought for the stalking case matches the man found dead on Thursday morning. Officials say it is unclear if the man suffered a medical condition while trying to elude police, suffered from exposure overnight, or possibly fell and hit his head.
