MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- It has been 18 days since 27-year-old Kelly Dwyer was last seen -- and on Monday, October 28th, Dwyer's face was placed on 17 billboards throughout the Milwaukee area.
"We wanted to concentrate on getting her face out to everyone -- whether it be people driving in and out of Chicago, people going west on the freeway -- everywhere," Christopher Schwartz with "Operation Locate Our Children" said.
Milwaukee police on Monday spent a third day searching a Menomonee Falls landfill for evidence in the case.
Dwyer was last seen eating at an East Side restaurant on Thursday, October 10th.
Authorities believe 38-year-old Kris Zocco may have been one of the last to see Dwyer before she disappeared.
Zocco was arrested on October 17th on drug charges that came to light as officials were investigating Dwyer's disappearance. Officials allegedly discovered cocaine, marijuana, oxycodone and hydrocodone while executing a search warrant of Zocco's residence.
Zocco's attorney Monday had this to say about the Dwyer case:
"No comment regarding anything to do with Ms. Dwyer. This case is a drug case. It has nothing to do with missing persons," Michael Levine said.
On October 24th, Zocco was arrested again at his parent's residence in Richfield, and charged with 17 counts of child pornography.
Zocco has not been charged in connection with Dwyer's disappearance.
During a court appearance Monday, where Zocco pleaded not guilty to drug charges, an MPD detective recalled her interview with Zocco regarding the night he spent with Dwyer.
"He said she partied with him. Those are the words he used -- and that consisted of doing lines of cocaine. He said they may have smoked a bong, which meant marijuana, in a pipe used to smoke marijuana and that they were going to have drinks," Milwaukee Police Detective Tammy Tramel-McClain said.
Meanwhile, those leading efforts to find Dwyer are continuing the search.
"It's a mystery and I wish I could give the family more answers right now," Schwartz said.
Schwartz said he spoke with Dwyer's father, and notified him that the billboards were being put up on Monday.
"He was very, very thankful for the billboards," Schwartz said.
Anyone with information in the Kelly Dwyer case is asked to contact the Milwaukee Police Department.
