Beloit driver killed after striking power pole in Town of Whitewater

TOWN OF WHITEWATER -- The Walworth County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that happened in the Town of Whitewater on Thursday evening, February 4th.

Officials say a driver of the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and struck a power pole on State Highway 59 shortly after 9  p.m.

The driver has been identified as Truley Unique Roberson, 24 years old, of Beloit. There were no passengers in the vehicle.

Roberson had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Whitewater Fire Department.  Life-saving measures attempted by the fire department were unsuccessful and Roberson died at the scene of the crash.
