BEAVER DAM, Wis. - Beaver Dam High School officials say a "burn list" has been circulating on social media. The superintendent said it is part of a TikTok trend.

Earlier this week, Beaver Dam High School families were notified of that "burn list" around social media.

The superintendent said law enforcement and the school resource officer immediately started investigating – and found a short video of students using the burn list as part of a TikTok resolution trend.
It was determined there was no credible physical threat associated with the list.
Parents unsettled
What they're saying:
"Shocked, horrified. Sad for the kids that are on this list," Katie Nelson, parent. "It’s scary as a parent to know that I’m sending my kids to school and knowing that there are other kids out there that are making these potential kill lists out there."

Parents are unsettled due to the word "kill" crossed out.
"Most of us are outraged. And we want the administration to do something about it," Nelson said.
What's next:
The superintendent told FOX6 News all students involved have not been at school since – and may not return at all depending on the outcome of the investigation.
