ARRESTED: Waukesha police nab suspects involved in Associated Bank robbery
WAUKESHA (WITI) -- The Waukesha Police Department has arrested two suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at an Associated Bank at 100 E Sunset Drive.
According to police, two men entered the bank around 10:28 a.m. on Friday, February 20th. One of the men displayed a handgun, then jumped the counter and took money before both men fled southbound on foot towards Big Bend Road. No shots were fired and no one was injured.
Police believe approximately $10,000 was taken in the robbery. Clothing and a facsimile weapon have been recovered as evidence.
The two suspects are being referred to the Waukesha County District Attorney's Office for robbery of a financial institution.
