ARRESTED & CHARGED: Mother in trouble after 4-year-old brings more than 200 bags of heroin to daycare!

DELAWARE (WITI) -- A Delaware mother is in trouble after her four-year-old daughter brought over 200 bags of heroin to daycare!

NBC10 in Philadelphia says 30-year-old Ashley Tull was arrested after her four-year-old daughter was found to be handing out bags of heroin at daycare -- thinking they contained candy.

The bags, containing a white powdery substance were removed by daycare teachers and taken to the police department, where the substance was determined to be heroin, according to NBC10.

NBC10 says the four-year-old girl brought the bags of heroin to daycare inside a backpack that her mother had given her after her other backpack was ruined by a family pet.

NBC10 reports police say 249 bags of heroin weighing 3.735 grams were found inside the backpack.

Several children that came into contact with the bags were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

NBC10 reports Ashley Tull was charged with maintaining a drug property and endangering the welfare of a child.

The four-year-old girl and two other children have been placed into the custody of a relative.
