Armed robbery leads to police pursuit and crash in downtown Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Police says they arrested three suspects after a multi-vehicle wreck in downtown Milwaukee.

Officials say the suspects had committed an armed robbery at a Radio Shack store on Milwaukee's south side around 11 a.m. The suspects allegedly took cell phones from the store and fled in a stolen rental car.

Police say the suspects were taken into custody a short time after crashing into another vehicle and a light pole at Milwaukee and Kilbourn near MSOE.

The driver of the vehicle that the suspects crashed into was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  The suspects, all male, are 19, 20, and 29 years old.
