Amazon, Kohl's, other retailers poised for big spike in online holiday sales

Shoppers are expected to spend even more money this holiday season.

The National Retail Federation has estimated shoppers will spend an average of $935 during November and December of 2016.

That would be a 3.6 percent increase from 2015.

But online sales are expected to grow even more -- between seven and 10 percent over 2015 -- to more than $117 billion.
