After gorgeous weekend, storms possible Monday, Tuesday
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- After a gorgeous weekend in southeastern Wisconsin, with sunshine, temperatures in the 70s and a light breeze -- we begin the work week with a chance for showers and thunderstorms throughout the day on Monday, August 5th.
FOX6 Meteorologist Brittney Sager says Monday morning looks dry before 9:00 a.m. -- but between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m., the showers and storms should move in.
Sager says we could see a break from the rain in the afternoon, before more showers and thunderstorms pop up Monday afternoon around 3:00 p.m.
The precipitation should move out by midnight, with fog and low clouds a possibility Tuesday morning.
Monday: Cloudy and cool. Periods of showers and a few t-storms. High: 70°. Dewpoint climbing to around 60°. Wind: SW 7-15 mph
Monday Night: Periods of showers and t-storms. Low: 64°. Dewpoint in the low 60s. Wind: SE-S 6-12 mph
Tuesday: Morning fog and clouds. Afternoon sun. Warm and humid. High: 83°. Dewpoint in the mid 60s. Wind: S-SW 7-15 mph
Tuesday Night: Periods of showers and t-storms. Low: 68°. Dewpoint in the mid 60s. Wind: SW-S 6-12 mph
Wednesday: A few leftover showers and t-storms in the morning. Then partly sunny. High: 78°. Dewpoint in the low to mid 60s.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s.
