A recall has been issued for 12,000 adult portable bed rails because the devices may pose an entrapment and serious injury hazard.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) stated in a Dec. 18 recall notice that the products violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails because when the bed rails are attached to a bed, users can become trapped, possibly causing a risk of death by asphyxiation.
