MILWAUKEE -- There's a brand new attraction at Milwaukee's Discovery World. Saturday, February 13th the Science and Technology Center unveiled its newest aquarium!

A ribbon cutting was held Saturday morning as part of the "Love Your Great Lakes" event.

This particular aquarium houses aquatic species from Asia and South Asia. It's located in the new wing at Discovery World and dedicated to all things weird, wild and colorful.

The exhibit took less than two months to complete.

"The biggest thing people are going to see is a huge a huge transformation of a space that used to have nothing in it and now just has splashes of vibrant colors that have species that are from around the world. Things from around the world that people are going to be able to see here in Milwaukee, and things that they wouldn't get to see anywhere else," said Discovery World's President and CEO, Joel Brennan.
